2017 Winners Announced!

The winners of the NUS Wales Awards 2017 were announced in a special celebration at NUS Wales Conference in Llandudno on Tuesday 14 March.

The evening began with entertainment from Bangor University Students’ Union’s Ukulele society, PoleFit society, and BU Dance, before we welcomed our compère for the evening, NUS-USI President Fergal McFerran.

The judges of this year’s Awards had a hard time deciding on the winners, and were impressed by the breadth and quality of work undertaken by all those who were nominated and shortlisted.

Staff Member of the Year

Winner: Martin Caldwell, Swansea University Students’ Union

Runner-up: Jane Harding, Cardiff University Students’ Union

 

Diversity Award

Winner: Cardiff University Students’ Union

Runner-up: Coleg Cambria Student Voice

 

Education Award

Winner: Trinity Saint David Students’ Union

Runner-up: Wrexham Glyndŵr Students’ Union

 

Further Education Students’ Union of the Year
